Ms. Margie Lois Hughes, 75, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.  She was born June 25, 1947 in Shaw to Luther and Gracie Aderholt Hughes.  Margie had worked in management for Scott Petroleum in their convenience stores for a number of years.  She attended Grace Baptist Church in Grenada.  Margie enjoyed crochet and working in her flower beds, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 31, 2022 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Sunday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include five sons, Keith Hughes of Grenada, Doug Davis(Casey) of Grenada, Dwayne Davis(Carla) of Greenville, Darrell Davis(Stephanie) of Grenada and Danny Davis(Michelle) of Grenada; one sister, Lorine Parker of Tillatoba; twelve grandchildren, Tyler Moody(Jonathan), Chloe Permenter, Chance Davis, Madison Davis, Destiny Rane Griffin, Breanna Nichole Griffin, Haylee Marie Davis, Shayla Hughes, Jessica Hughes, Audrey Montgomery, Ricki Montgomery and Doug Davis, III; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Jeanette Brock, Sarah Brown and Barbara Davenport.
