Mrs. Marguerite Abel Fox, 90, of Batesville, AR, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at her residence.  She was born November 5, 1932 in Duck Hill to Guy Taylor Abel and Myrtle Riley Abel.  She will lovingly be remembered as a devoted homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.  She was a Baptist.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Duck Hill Cemetery with Rev. Tim Buchanan officiating.

Survivors include three sons, William Irby Fox, Jr.(Robin), Stanley Abel Fox(Colena) and Kerry Lynn Fox, all of Batesville, AR; daughter-in-law, Vicki Fox of Brandon, MS; three sisters, Betty Trulove of West Point, Diane McCormick of Duck Hill and Kathy Bounds of Meridian; six grandchildren, Shane Fox(Ashley), Mary F. Cunningham, Drew Fox(Kristy), Lauren F. Kelley, Jason Goodwin(Jennifer) and Miranda F. Ricks(Jeff); and 12 great-grandchildren, Lidia Fox, Emory Fox, Lola Fox, Emma Cunningham, Braden Fox, Tanner Fox, Hunter Hubbell, Ace Kelley, Bryce Goodwin, Kayden Goodwin, Josilyn Price and Olivia Ricks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Irby Fox, Sr.; son, Steven Wayne Fox and a sister, Frances Abel.

Pallbearers will be Jay Bounds, Drew Fox, Irby Fox, Kerry Fox, Shane Fox and Stanley Fox.
