Mrs. Marie Redwine, 92, of Carroll County, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Grace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Grenada. She was born December 27, 1923 in Coffeeville to Isom and Blanche Sullivan Wright. She was a member of Malmaison Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2016 at Malmaison Baptist Church in Carroll County with Rev. Eddie Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time Friday at the church.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, E.E. "Fats" Redwine; two daughters, Frances Pugh and Linda Coleman, both of Carrollton; one son, Larry Sanders of Carrollton; five grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Bessie Wright Williams; a brother, James Wright and twin great-great-grandchildren, Eli and Levi Fleming.
