Mrs. Marjorie James Usry, 96, of Grenada, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Providence Assisted Living.  She was born October 14, 1924 in Carroll County the youngest of 10 children to Matthew and Mattie McDonald James.  Marjorie was a devoted homemaker and also worked at Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada for a number of years.  She was an active member of First Baptist Church – Grenada.

A private graveside service will be held at the Grenada Memorial Garden with Dr. Jim Nunnelee.

Survivors include four children, William S. Usry (Jo), James Usry (Martha), Suzette Usry Deese (Tim), Timothy Usry (Julie); 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren (with one on the way), 2 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Russell Usry (1990), her father (Matthew James), her mother (Mattie McDonald James), and 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Deese, Grady Griffin, Connor Usry, Chase Usry, James Usry Jr., Nick Warndorf.
