Mr. Mark Randle “Wolfman” Rutledge, 53, of Holcomb, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in Grenada. He was born July 31, 1972, in Grenada, to Norris Horton Rutledge and Carolyn Cox Rutledge.

Mark spent a lifetime as a truck driver, and through the many miles he traveled, he cultivated friendships far and wide. He was easy to talk to and made fast friends with most everyone he encountered. An avid outdoorsman, Mark loved the time he spent outdoors—especially crappie fishing and his yearly dove hunts in Texas.

Above all, Mark had a giving spirit. He truly enjoyed cooking and sharing the delicious meals he prepared with the people he loved. While many knew him as “Wolfman,” he was most proud of the special name his grandchildren gave him—“Poppy.”

Mark was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 23, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Bro. Dennis Dorris officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Thursday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Libby Rutledge; daughters, Lauren Palmertree(BJ) and Paula Marlow(Chase), both of Kilmichael; son, Riley Tyler of Kilmichael; sisters, Sheila Blaylock(Marvin) of Rosebloom and Tina Jackson(Tim) of Grenada; four grandchildren, Mayson, Bryce & Wesson Palmertree and River Nail; his faithful canine companion, Cole Rutledge and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Mallory Carson and his beloved dog, Penny.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Bloodworth, Scotty Flynn, Tim Jackson, Joe Pritchard, Kendall Rutledge and Terry Rutledge.
