Mrs. Marsha Lauren Mitchell Nash, 69, of Grenada, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 in Grenada.  She was born October 5, 1954 in Crystal Springs to Dallas Ray and Ora Nell Allen Mitchell.  Marsha worked for many years in the Jackson area as a Pre-School Teacher.  Marsha loved animals and was a dedicated fan of the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Dallas Cowboys.  She also enjoyed music and was a talented pianist.  She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Jackson and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada after she moved to Grenada.  Her sweet, fun-loving spirit radiated from her in any setting and she will be missed for many years to come.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Grenada Memorial Garden with Bro. Ken Salley officiating.

Survivors include her sister, Barbara Finkley of Grenada; nephews, Zane Finkley and Jerry Finkley(Misty) and great-nieces, Kira and Emily Finkley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Nash and a son, Allen Ray.
