Ms. Martha Dale Gaston Hobbs, 76, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  She was born August 13, 1945 in Philipp to Bill and Odean Frazier Gaston.  Martha spent most of her working life at National Picture Frame in Greenwood and later worked for many years as a loving and devoted private sitter.  She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 28, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Millard Caulder and Rev. J. Barry Worrell officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until service time Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include four daughters, Angela Tindall(James) of Grenada, Tasha Chadwell (William) of New Orleans, LA, Amanda Hobbs of Nettleton and Vanessa Hobbs(Shannon) of Houma, LA; one son, Gene Farris of Austin, TX; one brother, Scott Gaston(Carol) of Southaven; five grandchildren, Layken Carpenter, Evan Chadwell, Nick Watkins(Desiree), Alexis Coker(Trey) and Natalie Watkins; four great-grandchildren, Liam Cole, Jensie Watkins, Josie Watkins and Brantley Coker; and a brother-in-law, Chet Melton of Holcomb.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Shirley Kerren Melton.
