Mrs. Martha Mullins Oates, 77, of Grenada, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 17, 1941 in Carrollton to J.D. and Annie Norris Mullins. She had worked for many years as a CNA and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 10, 2019 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. John Goldwater and Rev. Milton Whatley officiating. Interment will follow in the Elliott Cemetery. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Sunday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include four daughters, Phoebe Green of Grenada, Tammy Perkins of Water Valley, Diane Hodges of Southaven and Darla Trusty of Grenada; two sons, James Winters and Earl Winters, both of Grenada; three sisters, Alice Farrell, Lucille Stallings and Darlene Winter; four brothers, Donnie Bell, Eddie Bell, Milton Whatley and Wayne Bell; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marion "Bubba" Oates; two sisters, Clara Allen and Frances Gillory; and a brother, James "Bo" Mullins.

Pallbearers will be Donavon Blaylock, Michael Johnson, Timothy Pearson, Cory Perkins, Charles Storey and Andy Walters.
