Mrs. Martha Lounez Harrelson Vaughn, 88, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at her residence. She was born August 9, 1929 in Derma to Hollie Dean and Lorena Calder Harrelson. She was a retired bookkeeper and was a member of First Baptist Church in Grenada where she taught in the Children's Sunday school department for over 30 years.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 29, 2017 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Dr. Jim Nunnelee and Rev. John Saxon officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Sunday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her son, Michael Dean Vaughn and his wife, Linda of Grenada; four granddaughters, Sonja Potts (Gil) of Madison, Candy Saxon (John) of Spanish Fort, AL, Diana Lawrence of Grenada, and Lesley Ross of Grenada; two grandsons, Brandon Michael Vaughn (Monica) of New Castle, WY and Benjamin Dean Vaughn of Spanish Fort, AL; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sidney Vaughn and a brother, Rev. W.R. "Dub" Harrelson.

Pallbearers will be Danny Dunlap, Mark Harrelson, Tim Harrelson, Ben Vaughn, Brandon Vaughn and Hunter Vaughn.

Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church – Grenada Benevolence Fund.
