Mrs. Mary Linda Hartley Harper Fly, 75, of Tillatoba, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at her residence. She was born December 24, 1944 in Oakland to Billy Walker and Ouida Maude Lyon Hartley. She retired after working over 30 years as the Administrative Secretary at Textron Auto in Grenada. Mary Linda was a member of Tillatoba Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 21, 2020 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Mark Luther and Rev. Rickey Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time Friday at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Fly; two daughters, Tracy Harper and Rachel Harper McCaulla(Will), all of Tillatoba; one son, Dennis Harper(Lisa) of Coffeeville; one sister, Kathy Hartley of Tillatoba; one brother, John Lyon Hartley(Laura) of Tillatoba; two grandchildren, Austin Wilbourn and Harley Kaye Harper; mother-in-law, Freda Harper; one step-daughter, Tracy Melvin(Rob) of Duck Hill; two step-sons, Scot Fly and Gordon Fly, both of Duck Hill; seven step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Gary D. Harper.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
