Mrs. Mary Lee Martin Ratliff, 88, of Grenada, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at home surrounded by her loved ones.  Mary was born September 19, 1932 to Oscar and Myrtle Barnes in the Calhoun County community of Sarepta.  Mary retired from Pennaco Hosiery after working there 40 years.  Mary was a member of Hardy Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. James Melton and Rev. Jeremy Hankins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.  The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service Tuesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Dale Ratliff of Grenada; daughter, Teresa Harkness of Oxford; grandsons, David Simmons of Denver, CO and Brian Simmons of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter, Jenny Zarta of Memphis, TN; sister, Martha Traylor of Memphis, TN; son-in-law, Wayne Simmons of Senatobia; and very special friends, Debbie Melton and Bobbie Snell, both of Grenada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Perkins; daughter, Shirley Simmons; son, Jimmy Martin; grandson, Mark Arron Simmons; and seven brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Beck, Bobby Blackwell, David Harrell, Mike Holloway, Kim Moore, Dan Ratliff, Danny Schiele and Greg Staten.  Honorary pallbearers will be Randall Bullard, Jae Moore and Bob Ratliff.
