Ms. Mary Louise Tharp, 66, of Gore Springs, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Grace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Grenada. She was born July 17, 1951 in Cleveland, a retired factory worker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bruce.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Phillip Cook officiating. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Wednesday afternoon at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Wayne Gann and his wife, Judy of Gore Springs; three sisters, Debbie Tharp Cain of Delaware; Trisha Finn of Houston and Mary Tharp Blade of Delaware; four brothers, Ellis Jenkins of Houston; Frank "Buddy" Tharp, Donald Tharp and Sonny Tharp all of Delaware; two grandchildren, Brandy Lee Gann and Brittany Dawn Logan; one great-grandchild, Joshua Lee Downs; a special niece, Kim Kosiorowki; and two sisters-in-law, Denise Tharp and Florence Tharp, both of Houston.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Truman Jenkins and Sadie Hocutt; one son, Terry Lee Gann; one sister, Elizabeth Kilgore and three brothers, J.W. Tharp, John Wesley Tharp and Jimmy Tharp.
