Mrs. Maxine Haley Bennett, 87, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Grenada Living Center. She was born July 16, 1931 in Carroll County to Earl M. and Mayzell Nail Haley. She was a retired beautician and also owned Maxine's Country Kitchen in the 1970s. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 6, 2018 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Lanny Haley officiating. Interment will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Carroll County. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time Thursday at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include three sons, Locke Bennett of Grenada, Lane Bennett(Lynn) of Grenada and Haley Bennett of Tupelo; one brother, Jerry Lee Haley of Carroll County; and three grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin and Cassie Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sandy Haley; and two brothers, Bobby and Ocie Dale Haley.

Pallbearers will be Scott Crawford, Dr. David Daigneault, Steve Johnson, Tracy Smith, Donnie Sultan and Sam Testa.
