Ms. Melinda Chevalier Messina, 66, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at her residence.  She was born April 27, 1954 in Prentiss to Fredrick Odessa and Edith Jane Land Chevalier.  Melinda had worked for a number of years as an Interior Decorator and Florist.  She also enjoyed working at Grace Health and Rehab as a CNA.  She was a Life Member of the Junior Auxiliary of Grenada and a talented artist.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include a daughter, Anna Jane Messina of Grenada; son, Joseph Samuel Messina, III of Grenada; three brothers, Donnie Chevalier(Linda) of Petal, Mark Chevalier of Ridgeland and Dr. Steven Chevalier(Erin) of Madison; and two grandchildren, Harper Sue Lehman and Ellie Kay Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
