Mercedes Lane Sellers, 26, of Grenada, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born March 26, 1992 in Grenada. She was a graduate of Grenada High School and was employed at Spencer's Dairy Kream. She was a loving daughter and mother and will be missed by all who knew her. Our beautiful shining light here on earth, Merkedees, is now our shining star in the sky. Her love for her daughter, Adyson, and all of her family and friends was always showing. No one ever had to doubt what she was thinking whether good or bad, but that was our Mercedes and we love her more than words could ever relay. She was a beautiful person and our world has been blessed for 26 years, 27 days, 23 hours and 29 minutes. Her light and smile will continue to carry on through her precious Adyson.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Eskridge Cemetery with Rev. George B. Heath, III officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Sunday evening at McKibben and Guinn. Please wear bright colors to the service and visitation in honor of Mercedes.

Survivors include her daughter, Adyson Claire Marlow of Grenada; mother, Heather Griffin(Scott) of Grenada; father, Derek Sellers(Cindy) of Winona; two sisters, Savanah McDowell (Cody) of Pittsboro and Peyton Neal(Drew) of Winona; and one brother, J.R. Sellers of Grenada. She is also survived by her Pop and Mimi, Lelon and Kay Steed; Granny, Nancy Heath; Papaw, William Griffin; Memaw, Barbara DeLoach; Larry and Mary Minyard, Ray and Linda Parker, Great-Granny, Agnes Heath; Uncle Ghinga and Aunt Cassie Heath, Caleb, Gavin and Eli; Uncle Joseph and Aunt Rachele Heath and Zoie; Aunt Christina and Uncle Tim Collins, Parker, Rivers, Haggard and Valen; Aunt Lena Tatum, Jonathan, Brooke and Hailey; Uncle Joey Stone, Gabriel and Lily; Aunt Candi Jordan, Jason and Chloe; Aunt Monica Holland, Michele, Summar and Autumn; Aunt Lisa and Uncle Bert Mitchell, Robbie, Carl, Leigh and Matthew; Uncle Billy Griffin, Abigail, Christopher, Malorie and Daulton; and a multitude of great uncles, aunts and cousins.

Mercedes was preceded in death by Papa George "Pete" Heath, Jr.; Mamaw, Beatrice Griffin; Great-Grandmama, Lena Sellers; Great-Nana, Katheryne Glazner and Great-Papa, George B. Heath, Sr.

Pallbearers will be J.R. Sellers Caleb Heath, Gavin Heath, Joseph Heath, Cody McDowell, Drew Neal and Jonathan Tatum. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brett Blaylock, Cody Carson, Drake Dotson, Jacob French, Blake Guinn, Cameron Hill, Dillan Hill, Chris Holly, Hestin Tackett, Nash Tucker and Cody Upchurch.
