Obituary
Mr. William Merle Bell, 91, of Holcomb, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at his residence. He was born March 25, 1924 in Holcomb to William Gaston and Maude Edwards Bell. He was a retired contractor and a member of Central Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 24, 2015 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Bill Lee and Rev. John Goldwater officiating. Interment will follow in the Sparta Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Aleene McHann Bell; and two daughters, Sonja Jordan (Jim) and Kimberly Bell, both of Holcomb.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Hortense and Hazel Latham.
Pallbearers will be John Cannon, Jim Jordan, Keith McHann, Kevin McHann and Tommy Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Leon Fisk, Royce Jones, Lloyd Sivley, Billy Vance and Blake Williams.
