Michael Wayne "Mike" Walters, 58, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 21, 1957 in Leland to Lloyd Nelson Walters, Sr. and Elizabeth Dubard Walters. He was a self-employed mechanic and a member of Enon Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Adelbert Adcock officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday evening at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Walters; two sons, Bill Walters (Tiffany) and Matt Walters (Brandy), both of Grenada; one daughter, Mandy Logan (Jason) of Grenada; his mother, Elizabeth Walters of Grenada; and seven grandchildren, Adrianna Walters, Alida Lynn Walters, Payton Leigh Walters, Rylee Brooke McCormick, Mary Clayton Logan, Larkin Logan and Emily Smith.

He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Stephen Ray Holley; a sister, Michelle Hodges and a brother, Lloyd Nelson "Bubba" Walters, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Gary Marter, Earl Ray, Brian Smith, Bill Walters, Matt Walters and Sean Wilbourn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ed Beach, Bobby Crawford, Jason Logan and David Wilbourn.
