Mrs. Mildred Dugan, 93, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Crystal Health and Rehabilitation in Greenwood. She was born April 23, 1923 in Corinth, MS to Benjamin and Ella Taylor Wood. She was a homemaker and a member of the Van Dorn St. Church of Christ, where she was a faithful member for sixty years.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Grenada.
Survivors include her three children Regina Spraberry(Bud), Dianne Hensley(Tom), Lawrence Dugan, Jr., seven grandchildren, Clay Spraberry(Janie), Audrey Walker(Todd), Michelle Evans(Jimmy), Lesa Lyday, Susan Nanney, Dawn Looney(Evans), Clayton Dugan(Elizabeth), sixteen Great Grandchildren, Derek, Randall, Charlie, Griffin, Baker, Sara Ethan, Jayden, Jake, Ben, Emmie, Phares, Isabelle, Hensley, Evans III, Conner & Larson, one great-great grandchild Calvin. A special niece Brenda Barnes, Barry Gregg and many relatives in the Wood & Dugan families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lawrence C. Dugan, Sr., three sisters Inez, Nell & Naomi, three brothers Murray, Floyd & Roy, and her grandson Dr. Christopher Eathan Spraberry.
The family would like to thank her special friends Cindy, Sam T., Jackie, Doreen, Rosemary, Patsy, Katie & Beth as well as her church family.
