Obituary
Mr. M.L. McCormick, 87, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 12, 1928 in Grenada to Monroe Quinn and Muzelle Allen McCormick. He was a retired office clerk at Grenada Farms, a World War II Army Veteran and a member of Enon Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2015 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Fletcher Moorman officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Pam Rounsaville (Barry) of Grenada; a son, Monroe McCormick, Jr. (Mary) of Grenada; a brother, Henry McCormick of Brandon, MS; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty Osborn McCormick.
Pallbearers will be Brad Hodges, Al Kuykendall, Anthony McCormick, Randy McCormick, Steven McCormick and Bo Oswalt.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
