Mr. Morris Junior Busby, 71, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at his residence.  He was born September 16, 1950 in Bruce.  Morris retired after working over 20 years as a fin press operator at Heatcraft in Grenada.  He had also previously worked for a number of years at Randall-Textron.  An avid outdoorsman, Morris enjoyed hunting and fishing every chance he had.  Morris loved to work with his hands and was a skilled mechanic working on automobiles and small engines.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Zion Grove Church of God of Prophecy.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.

Survivors include two daughters, Brandice Busby of Grenada and Leigh Ann Wilkey of Memphis; one son, Eric Trusty of Grenada; a nephew, Dustin Mullen of Holcomb; the mother of his children, Mary Busby of Duck Hill; nine grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Busby Hocutt; two daughters, Charity Busby and Morrissa Busby; two sisters, Sadie Jenkins and Lucille Langham and three brothers, John, George and Rod Hocutt.
