Mrs. Nelda Ward Taylor, 68, of Grenada, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at Providence Assisted Living.  She was born December 4, 1952 in Pittsboro.  Nelda spent the greatest portion of her working life in insurance and real estate.  She had also worked as a beautician early in her life.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.  Nelda will be remembered for her loving spirit as she nurtured and was a mother figure to so many through the years.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Red Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis L. Taylor; daughter, Carrie Taylor Blakely(Damon) of Duck Hill; sister, Barbara Hobgood of Oxford; six grandchildren, Devin Cooper(Anna), Jessica Parks(Drew), Taylor Heineck, Curtis Heineck, Belle Kennedy and Jackson Kennedy and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Zona Dover Waldrip; father, Q.T. Ward; daughter, Leigh Taylor and two brothers, Paul Ward and Odom Ward.
