Mrs. Nettie Rose Welch Minyard, 65, of Holcomb, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. She was born May 28, 1952 in Helena, AR to Oscar William and Flora Rebecca Evans Welch. She was a devoted homemaker, a member of Hillside Baptist Church and had worked many years at Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, July 3, 2017 at Sparta United Methodist Church near Holcomb with Rev. Jerry McNeer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time Monday at the church.

Survivors include a son, Nic Minyard of Birmingham; her mother, Flora Welch of Holcomb; three grandchildren, Jackson, Crew and Hayden Connerley; one sister, Margaret Ward of Holcomb and two brothers, Bob Welch (Mary) of Leflore and Randy Welch (Linda) of Holcomb.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Larry Minyard and a daughter, Tina Minyard Robertson.
