Nora Youngblood Horton, 96, of Grenada, died March 28, 2016, at the home of her daughter in Grenada, Mississippi. Mrs. Horton was born January 24, 1920 in Panola County to Charles E. & Susie Foster Youngblood. Mrs. Horton was a homemaker and a retired Nurses' aide. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Grenada.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from the Chapel of McKibben & Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Larry Windham officiating. Interment will follow in Grenada Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include sons Harold L. Horton(Mary) of Grenada, Donald C. Horton(Diane) of Vicksburg, daughters Martha H. Honeycutt(John) of Madison, AL, Barbara H. Woods of Grenada, Brenda H. Tilghman(Clovis) of Guntown, MS and Debra H. Burt of Texarkana, TX; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Harry Lee Horton.
