Mr. Norbert Morgan, 79, of Duck Hill, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at his residence.  He was born February 11, 1942 in Montgomery County to Harvey and Birdie Warren Morgan.  Norbert was a retired cattle buyer with Pioneer Beef in Grenada and was a member of Elliott Baptist Church.  While enjoying the outdoors and working his cattle were among the many things he enjoyed, spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities was always a top priority.

Family and friends will gather from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada.  A graveside service will immediately follow visitation at the Elliott Cemetery with Rev. Michael Payton officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Shelby Robinson Morgan; two daughters, Fran Harper and Melinda Little(Curry), both of Duck Hill; one brother, Don Morgan of Duck Hill; five grandchildren, Lauren Martin(Jason), Houston Harper(Mary Claire), Skye Little(Victoria), Gage Little and Brooke Little; and six great-grandchildren, Shelby Reece, Olivia, Martha Claire, Lorelei, Adler and Emerson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jo Ann Dixon.

Pallbearers will be C.J. Baker, Houston Harper, Curry Little, Gage Little, Skye Little, Jason Martin, Earl Robinson and Jack Henry Robinson.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene Bell, Eddie Dixon, Jake Gibbs, Michael Jacks, Devo Lancaster, Craig Morgan, Kevin Morgan and Kyle Wilson.
