Patrice Camille Marascalco Adcock, 69, of Oxford, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.  She was born January 27, 1953 in Clarksdale to Carmelo Joseph "Bone" and Robbie Frances Carpenter Marascalco.  Patrice was an active parishioner of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Oxford and was also, in previous years, a parishioner of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Grenada where she taught Sunday school and was a leader in the CYO.  Patrice obtained an Associates Degree from Holmes Community College, completed her undergraduate work at Delta State University and ultimately obtained a Masters Degree in Education from University of Mississippi.  She enjoyed a long, prosperous career as a teacher in the gifted program at Grenada Elementary School.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Grenada with Father Mark Shoffner and Father Arokia Savio officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.  Family and friends will gather from 12:00 noon until service time Tuesday at the church.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. Christopher Joseph Marascalco Cummins of Oxford and Andrew Simon Cummins(Rachael) of Walls; one sister, Gilda Richardson of Grenada; three brothers, Dr. Carl Marascalco of Grenada, Glen Marascalco(Sebrina) of Grenada and Mark Marascalco of Fairhope, AL; and five grandchildren, Isabella Camille Cummins, Sarah Grace Cummins, Charles Edward Cummins, Lynlee Marie Marascalco Cummins and Andrew Simon Cummins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
