Mrs. Patsy Joyce Payne McCalop, 75, of Holcomb, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. She was born July 23, 1940 in Holcomb to Lurrie and Willie Mae Montgomery Payne. She retired after working 30 years as a machine operator at Heatcraft and was a Baptist.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 7, 2015 at Holcomb Cemetery with Rev. John Goldwater officiating. Family and friends will gather from 9:30 until 10:30 Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her son, Kirby McCalop (Tonya Harris) of Holcomb; two sisters, Sarah Reeves of Holcomb and Grace Whites of Greenwood; one brother, Donnie Payne of Holcomb and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kelly McCalop; daughter, Cindy Tutor; son, Greg McCalop and granddaughter, Candice Bailey.
Pallbearers were Donnie Payne, Mason Payne, Wyomman Reeves, Caleb Whites, Josh Whites and Woody Whites.
