Patti Faye Green Goodwin, 62, of Water Valley, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at her residence. She was born May 19, 1953 in Water Valley to Lewis S. and Marjorie Allen Green. She was a faithful member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church where she served as Minister of Music. She was a former employee of the Big Yank Corporation in Water Valley and had worked as an LPN since 2000 at both the North Mississippi Regional Center in Oxford and the Yalobusha General Hospital System.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Water Valley with Rev. Lynn Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday at the church.
Survivors include two sons, Jason Goodwin (Ashleigh) of Brandon and Randy Goodwin of Water Valley; two granddaughters, Anna Chamblee and Leighton Goodwin; two sisters, Louise Herron and Sammie Cobern, both of Water Valley; and one brother, Murray Green of Brandon. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles E. Green and Jamie C. Green.
