Mrs. Patty Jo Nail Futhey, 78, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at her residence.  She was born August 26, 1942 in Duck Hill to Ernest and Wardine Ransom Nail.  Patty had worked in Banking in the Grenada area for over 32 years retiring from Renasant Bank.  She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada.  Patty had a contagious smile and sweet spirit and had the unique ability to make anyone feel at ease in her presence.  She adored her family (especially her grandchildren) and was a blessing to all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 24, 2020 at the Duck Hill Cemetery with Rev. J. Barry Worrell officiating.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, John E. Futhey; daughter, Tammy Futhey Short and her husband, Scott of Grenada; son, John Futhey and his wife, Theresa of Henderson, NV; sister, Lucy Futhey of Grenada; brother, Will Nail and his wife, Julia of Duck Hill; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Seth Short.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
