Peggy Jean Hollis, 77, of Grenada passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 in Jackson. She was born January 23, 1942 in Alabama to Willie & Cora Umfress Ludolf. She was a member of Hebron Baptist. She worked for many years at Pennaco Hosiery and ADP in Grenada.

Funeral Service will be held at noon on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Hebron Baptist Church in Grenada with Dr. Lowell Ingram and Bro. Howard Beam officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until service time at the church.

Survivors include her husband Bobby Clifton Hollis, Sr., two sons Bobby Clifton "JR" Hollis(Connie) and Alfred Jackson "Jack" Hollis all of Grenada, five grandchildren Shae Bishop, Casey Hollis, Jason Smitherman, Ryan Hollis and Corissa Smitherman, five great grandchildren,  one great-great grandchild, two sisters, Beatrice McCammon of Grenada and Nellie Dougherty of Delaware, and one brother Alfred Ludolf of Grenada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Peggy Sue Smitherman and a son in law Louis Smitherman and two sisters Betty Lou Ludolf and Joyce Ann Ludolf.

Pallbearers will be Tristan Austin, Ricky Edwards, Randy Harrell, Casey Hollis, Ryan Hollis and Jason Smitherman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Ralston and Jerol Vaughn.
