Mr. Perry Lee Simpson, Sr., 60, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  He was born December 2, 1960 in Greenville to Bilbo and Imogene Cordell Simpson.  Mr. Simpson was a truck driver for FedEx for 22 years and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 25, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. John Goldwater officiating.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Penny Simpson; one daughter, Lauren Vaughn(Brian) of Robertsdale, AL; two sons, Perry Lee Simpson, Jr.(Kelly) of Greenville and Heath Simpson(Elizabeth) of Cleveland; one sister, Angie Dunn of Ft. Payne, AL; one brother, George Simpson of Starkville; and six grandchildren, Bella Simpson, Layla Simpson, Walker Simpson, Lucas Simpson, Hunter Vaughn and Colby Brooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wayne Simpson.

Memorials may be directed to the Hugh White State Park.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles E. Simpson, Charles Anthony Simpson, Chad Swinford, Cordell Washington and Kirk Hobson.
