Mr. Pervy Lee Tankesly, age 63, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the University Hospital in Mobile, AL.  He was born December 1, 1956 in Mobile, AL to Vernon Alton and Jessie Bernice Woods Tankesly.  Pervy had spent most of his working life as a truck driver and was a member of the Parrish Church of the Nazarene.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Kevin Tribble officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Cherryl McGruff Tankesly of Cordova, AL; two daughters, Tanya Austin(Michael) of Moss Point and Kim Bruce of Calera, AL; one granddaughter, Jessi Austin of Moss Point; four grandsons, Taylor Austin and Caden Austin, both of Moss Point, Rain Bruce of Glencoe, AL and Christian Bruce of Calera, AL;  one sister, Vera Toler(Richard) of Gulfport; and a brother, Vernon Tankesly(Joyce) of Indianola.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beatrice Moore and a brother, James Tankesly of Las Cruces, NM.
