Rachel Faye Everett Bagwell, 80, of Gore Springs, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  She was born February 2, 1943 in Leflore County to Robert Franklin and Cornelia Jacks Everett.  Rachel retired after many years of serving as a house mother at Beacon Harbor in Greenwood.  She enjoyed reading, watching TV, puzzle books and listening to music.  She found the most joy in spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Itta Bena Cemetery with Rev. Chris McElroy officiating.

Survivors include four daughters, Elaine Waynette McKee of Grenada, Rachelle Deaton(Hal) of Gore Springs, Kathy Everett(Bobby) of Money and Faye Harvey(Chad) of Covington, LA; two brothers, John Robert Everett(Virginia) of West Memphis, AR and Donald Jacks Everett(Bev) of Lafayette, LA; eight grandchildren, Rachel Dickerson(J.D.), Trey Everett, Tate Glenn(Jada), Andrew McKee(Paige), Luke Glenn, Halle Deaton, Lydia Harvey and Adelyn Harvey; three great-grandchildren, Wyatt Dickerson, Everett Dickson and Charlee Tate Glenn and many nieces and nephews whom she loved also.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond Everett and sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Everett.

Pallbearers will be Wyatt Dickerson, Trey Everett, Luke Glenn, Tate Glenn, Andrew McKee and Brent Smith.
