Mr. Walter Ray Epperson, 89, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Providence Assisted Living.  He was born May 9, 1930 in North Carolina to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Epperson.  Ray honorably served our country in the United States Air Force where he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.  He was a member of First Baptist Church – Grenada.

A private graveside service will be held Friday, April 3, 2020 at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada with Bro. Ken Salley officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Epperson; one son, Walter Epperson, Jr.(Lee) of Dallas, GA; two grandchildren, Ashley Epperson and Joe Epperson; two brothers, John and Sidney Epperson; sisters-in-law, Rebecca Hunter(Larry) of Grenada, Norma Griffin of Van Buren, MO and Mary Wiseman of Winona; brothers-in-law, Gerald Conway of Carrollton and David Conway of Winona.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Belinda Lou Epperson and five sisters.
