Mr. Ray Bell, Jr., 89, of Tillatoba, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at his residence.  He was born August 14, 1934 in Oklahoma to Ray Bell, Sr. and Lilly Vesta Payne Bell.  Mr. Bell worked as a farmer for a number of years and later retired as a truck driver having worked many years for Lewis Grocery/SuperValu.  He was a skilled "handyman" and was blessed with the ability to fix almost anything.  He enjoyed worshiping and the fellowship he had with other believers at Tillatoba Baptist Church.  While working in his yard and traveling were among the many things he enjoyed, spending time with his beloved family was what he enjoyed most.

Family and friends will gather for visitation from 1:00 – 3:00 PM Monday, December 11, 2023 at the Tillatoba Baptist Church.  Immediately following visitation, a graveside service will be held at the Union Cemetery at Tillatoba with Rev. Rickey Harris officiating.

Survivors include his daughter, Deborah McCool(Tommy) of Tillatoba; son, Ronald Bell(Elisa) of Oklahoma City, OK;  four grandchildren, Michael Merrill, Angela Dukes, Christopher McCool and Kimberly Beavers; nine great-grandchildren, Victoria Merrill, Nicholas Merrill, Veronica Chambers, P.J. and Allison Dukes; Hunter and Hayden McCool and Caitlyn and Hannah Beavers and one great-great-grandchild, Isabelle Chambers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Opal Bell; daughter, Karen Merrill; son, Thomas Ray Bell; sister, Eula Andrews and brothers, Fred, Cecil, Gus and Paul Cantrell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Union Cemetery Fund through the Tillatoba Baptist Church.
