Mr. Raymond Gardner Jones, 95, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Grenada Living Center.  He was born February 9, 1926 in Coffeeville to Leon and Birtie Gardner Jones.  Mr. Jones retired as a line foreman with Entergy and was a member of Providence Baptist Church.  Mr. Jones honorably served our country in the US Navy during World War II.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the Coffeeville Cemetery with Dr. Joey Faulk officiating.  Family and friends will gather from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Sunday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include one daughter, Debra Bills(Keith) of Grenada; one son, David Jones(Susan) of Madison; one brother, Harold Jones of Missouri; and two grandsons, Michael Jones and Robert Bills.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dorothy Jones.

Pallbearers will be Keith Bills, Robert Bills, Caleb Jones, Michael Jones, Mike Jones and Phillip Jones.

Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Society.
