Mr. Richard Brooks Perry, 66, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his residence.  He was born October 22, 1956 in Grenada to Lonnie Lee, Sr. and Mary Allene Hood Perry.  Richard was a long-time employee of the City of Grenada Street Department and was a Baptist.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 4, 2022 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Jerry McNeer officiating.  Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Carroll County.  Family and friends will gather from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service Friday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Ruth Perry Turnipseed of Grenada; brother, Jimmy Perry(Rachel) of Grenada and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Susie Myers and Dorothy McDill and three brothers, Francis Perry, Lonnie Perry, Jr. and Billy Perry.
