Ms. Rita Worbington Rose, 74, of Grenada, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.  She was born July 18, 1949 in Cleveland.  Rita enjoyed a long, successful career as a Registered Nurse that spanned over 30 years.  She enjoyed reading, cutting grass, trips to the casino and most of all, spending time with her family.

Memorial service plans are private.

Survivors include three daughters, Melissa Eskridge, Kimberly Peacock and Tracy Morris(Jeremy), all of Grenada; sister, Linda Smith(Gerald) of Grenada; brother, Marshal Worbington of Ocean Springs; six grandchildren, Nikki Manuel, Courtney Johnson, Tyler Morgan, Liz Savage(Michael), Chelsea Lemley and Ashley Watson; and ten great-grandchildren, Laci Roberson, Hannah Roberson, Camryn Manuel, Kent Layne Johnson, Conner Johnson, Bentlee Savage, Baylee Lemley, Aubrie Robinson, Aliyah Watson and Adam Watson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. Worbington and Johnnie Dunson Davis and two brothers, Kenny and Larry Worbington.
