Mr. Robert Bailey "Bob" Buchanan, 75, of Philipp, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his residence. He was born November 27, 1940 in Philipp to George Woodrow and Sammie Elizabeth Ray Buchanan. He was a retired warehouse supervisor for Wade, Inc. and a master mechanic. Mr. Buchanan was a member of Philipp Presbyterian Church and a US Army Veteran.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 14, 2016 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Kevin Tribble officiating. Interment will follow in the Tippo Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Winnie Ruth Buchanan; one daughter, Marla Kay Davis and her husband, Chip of Philipp; one son, Robert Buchanan, Jr. of Houston, TX; two sisters, Helen Safley of Vicksburg and Frances Beverly of New Orleans, LA; a daughter-in-law, Lexie Buchanan of Philipp; four grandchildren, Kris Kennington, Wyatt Buchanan, Bailey Davis and John Hiram Davis; one great-grandson, Hayes Kennington along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ronnie Ray Buchanan.

Pallbearers will be Bailey Davis, Chip Davis, Keith Livingston, Richard Safley, Walter Safley and Roger Worsham. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bubba Lance and Henry Starnes.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
