Mr. Robert Earl Ratliff, Sr., 71, of Holcomb, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Desoto in Southaven.  He was born May 17, 1949 in Grenada to Robert Edward and Florence Little Ratliff.  Robert Earl was the owner of Ratliff Water Well Service in Holcomb.  He honorably served our country in the Mississippi National Guard and was a member of Holcomb Baptist Church.  He was also a 32 ^nd degree Mason.  While Robert Earl enjoyed many things in life, traveling was among his favorite things to do.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Joey Gafford officiating.  Interment with Masonic Rites will follow in the Ratliff Family Plot at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Grenada.  The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.  Masks will be required and social distancing will be observed at the service.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Ratliff; three daughters, Cindy Buckley(Bob) of Memphis, Shannon Kelley(John) of Harvard, MA, and Felicia Staten(Greg) of Holcomb; two sons, Bob Ratliff of Holcomb and Dan Ratliff(Laura) of Olive Branch; four sisters, Frances Tedford of Grenada, Robbie Ratliff of Oxford, Carolyn Cunningham of Jackson and Kathy Harbin of Scobey; and twelve grandchildren, Ethan Ratliff, Jack Kelley, Davis Buckley, Spencer Buckley, Kathryn Ratliff, Elizabeth Ratliff, Kaitlyn Ratliff, Justin Ratliff, Claire Kelley, Samantha Ratliff, Maddox Ratliff and Rye Staten; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Margaret Latham and a brother, John Ratliff.

Pallbearers will be Davis Buckley, Farrell Festervand, Ron Hames, J.R. Johnson, Bobby Little, Hayden Mitchell, Ethan Ratliff, Justin Ratliff and Cody Strickland.
