Mr. Robin Lee Hudson, 83, of Carroll County, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026. He was born June 16, 1942, in Mendenhall to James Ray and Maggie Lena Stephens Hudson. Mr. Hudson enjoyed a career spanning more than 30 years with Mississippi Valley Gas, now Atmos Energy, where he worked in Greenwood, West Point, and Clarksdale. He attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Carroll County and was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 26, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service Sunday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his son, Richard Hudson of Carroll County; sister, Janice Cooper of Morton; grandson, Brice McWilliams(Sarah Lincoln) of Union Church, MS and Dr. Morgan Hudson(Catherine) of Bedford, TX; six great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Caden, Tredon, Wesley, Zeke and Kash and his long-time companion, Julie Gatewood of Lake Cormorant.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James Henry Hudson and Joe Hudson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Bowen, Lane Cooper, Eddie Howze, Morgan Hudson, Brice McWilliams and Clint Walker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Liberty Baptist Church in the Jefferson Community of Carroll County or Goshen Baptist Church in Magee.
