Mr. Ronald Wayne “Ronnie” Eaton, 77, of Grenada, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026 at his residence. He was born August 19, 1948 in Greenwood to Jack and Grace Vance Eaton. Ronnie earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and later earned a Master’s degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He worked as a Computer Analyst at UCLA and for Honeywell. Ronnie also served as the IT Director for the City of Tucson, Arizona. He was an antique and classic car enthusiast.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. John Goldwater officiating.

Survivors include his brother, Larry Eaton(Hollie) of Grenada and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Virginia Burns Eaton; sister, Barbara Criss and brother, Danny Eaton.
