McCARLEY, MS—
A memorial service for Ronald Joe Fleeman, 67, of McCarley, will be held at noon on Friday, June 5 at Valley Park Baptist Church in Valley Park, MS.
Mr. Fleeman died May 31, 2020 at his home.
He was born November 28, 1952 to the late William E. (Jack) Fleeman and Dot Lovorn Fleeman. He attended school in Cary and Rolling Fork before graduating from Rolling Fork High School in 1970. He attended Ole Miss and Mississippi State University, and returned home to Valley Park to work on the family farm.
He was engaged in a trucking venture in the 1980s until relocating with his family to the Isola area to manage a farming operation. He also worked in saw mills in Redwood before leaving Mississippi to work with a military contractor in Djibouti, Africa. He also worked as a mechanic for a mining company in Buffalo, Wyoming and as a branch manager for a credit union in Kodiak, Alaska. Most recently, he worked with his daughter and son-in-law in their home remodeling business near Winona.
Mr. Fleeman is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Jessica (Bobby) McCrary of McCarley; son, Joey Fleeman of Kodiak, Ak.; brothers, Bobby (Sally) Blackley of Rolling Fork and Jackie (Sarah) Fleeman of Cary; and grandson, Bobby Joe McCrary Jr. of McCarley.
