Ms. Rose Ann York Brock, 63, of Winona, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson.  She was born April 24, 1959 in Bristol, PA to Prentiss and Mary Cleo Tharp York.  Rose was an active and devoted member of Duck Hill Baptist Church.  She had spent most of her working life as an Operator with BellSouth and also worked with their installation and repair division in Chattanooga, TN.  Most recently, she worked at Heath Aviation in Winona.  Riding motorcycles, gardening and tending to her flowers were among some of her favorite hobbies.  A gifted seamstress, she loved to sew and teach her grandchildren how to sew as well.  Rose will lovingly be remembered as a woman with a big heart who always had an outstretched hand willing to help someone in need.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 14, 2023 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Tim Buchanan officiating.  Interment will follow in the Toten Family Cemetery in Blackhawk.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Friday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include three daughters, Leah Cordell(Jody) of Winona, Lauren Phillips(Hunter) of Winona and Lainey Williams(Garrett) of Carrollton; one brother, Michael York of Texas; and eight grandchildren, Audra Cordell, Joseph Cordell, Jr., Gracie Cordell, Kalie Cordell, Valerie Davis, Jeremy Davis, Rylie-Kate Williams and Haley Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Connie Ramage and Barbara Cruthis and a brother, Johnny Ray York.
