Mrs. Roselyn "Rose" VanMiddlesworth Power, 82, a long-time resident of Tunica, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at Providence Assisted Living in Grenada. She was born May 4, 1937 in Memphis to Leonard and Golda Schleoman VanMiddlesworth. She had worked for many years alongside her husband as bookkeeper for J.M. Power Farms in Tunica. Rose was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Tunica where she had served as a Sunday school teacher.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 8, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Tunica with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Williams(Jack) of Duck Hill and Shelley Williams(Keith) of Gulfport; one son, James M. "Tracy" Power, III of Destin, FL; six grandchildren, Keith Williams, Kyle Williams, Mandy Vanlandingham, Micheal Brock, Garrett Williams and Katie Williams and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Montgomery "Teddy" Power, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Micheal Brock, Bradley Vanlandingham, Chuck VanMiddlesworth, Garrett Williams, Keith Williams, Jr., and Kyle Williams.
