Mr. Roy Lewis Hodges, 77, of Duck Hill, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford. He was born March 31, 1939 in Grenada, MS. to Daniel and Beatrice Campbell Hodges. He was retired from Heatcraft a Mason and a member of Duck Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at McKibben & Guinn Chapel. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Duck Hill. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters Vivian Golding of Winona and Alesia Shields of Grenada, one sister Ernestine Latimore of Coffeeville, one brother Alfred Hodges of Winona, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his spouse Joan Kirk Hodges, son Kirk Robinson, three sisters Geneva Rounsville, Mary Cole and Irene Tillman and three brothers Doc Hodges, Bill Hodges and Russell Hodges.
Memorials may be made to the Shiloh cemetery fund.
