Mrs. Ruby D. Loden, 92, of Holcomb, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Providence Assisted Living. She was born January 21, 1927 in Carroll County to John Thomas, Sr. and Ruby DeLoach DuBard. She had worked for many years as an inspector at Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada and was an integral part of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's lives. She was a member of Greenwood Primitive Baptist Church. Ruby will be remembered for her feisty spirit, delicious meals and always keeping those around her laughing.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 8, 2019 at the Springhill Cemetery with Rev. Billy Little officiating.

Survivors include her daughter, Pat Loden Lea(Donald); one sister, Dorothy Martin(Billy); two brothers, J.T. Dubard(Mary Lou) and William L. Dubard(Jean); four grandchildren, Tammy Evans(Bob), Rhonda Lea McCullough(Shaine), Kenneth Lea(Marty) and Jason Lea(Renee); nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Ford Loden; son, Eddie R. Loden and a sister, Ella Elizabeth Walters.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
