Ruth Fynewever LeClair, age 90, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at her home in Oxford, MS. Ruth was born November 27, 1927 in Coopersville, MI to Gordon and Anna Fynewever. She married Armond (Lee) LeClair in 1950 and enjoyed 67 years of marriage and raising seven children. The family includes daughter, Jennifer LeClair(James) of Albany, GA, daughter, Paulette Haggerty(Mike) of Dallas, TX, son, Dan LeClair(Barbara) of Snellville, GA, son, Alan LeClair(Barbara) of Johnson City, TN, daughter, Renee Wilbourn(Rick) of Grenada, MS, daughter, Allison Johnson(Mike) of Dallas, TX and son,Tim LeClair(Stephanie) of Grenada, MS; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents and two granddaughters.

Ruth began her career as chief operator for General Telephone in the late 1940s prior to meeting and marrying Lee. Most of her career was being a homemaker and Mom. Ruth played the xylophone and organ. She enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, cooking, playing bridge, pinochle and watching baseball. Ruth was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church where she co-founded "The Knit Wits", a prayer shawl knitting ministry. Ruth will be remembered by her warm smile, generosity and grace. She will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 3, 2018 at All Saints Episcopal Church in Grenada. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until service time Friday in the church parish hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to All Saints Episcopal Church Missions and Outreach.
