Mrs. Sadie McCammon Harbin Griffin, 91, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada. She was born November 23, 1927 in Yalobusha County to William Louis Edward McCammon and Martha Sara Winters McCammon. She had worked for many years at Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada and later in life, went back to school at Holmes Junior College to become a nurse. Sadie spent the latter part of her working years as a nurse at Grenada Lake Medical Center. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Grenada.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Friendship Baptist Church in Grenada. Interment will follow in the Smith Cemetery at Rosebloom. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time Tuesday at Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Holland McMahan(Kenneth) and Judy Goodwin Coyle(Ray), both of Grenada; one son, Tommy Harbin(Kathy) of Grenada; one son-in-law, William B. Chaney of Senatobia; nine grandchildren, Danny Holland, Thad Holland(Amanda), Trey Kerr, Tommy Kerr, Amanda Harbin Keeton(Paul), Scott Harbin, Brian Chaney(Michelle), Brent Chaney(Sandra) and Brandon Chaney; eleven great-grandchildren, Rachel Card, David Thorn, Colby Morgan, Aubrey Morgan, Daniel Morgan, Karah Tharp, Trace Holland, Hallie Kerr, Killian Kerr, Rocky Kerr and Alex Keeton; seven great-great-grandchildren, Axel Morgan, Ashton Tharp, Holland Thorn, Lily Thorn, Madison Thorn, Jayden Phillips and Kennedy Card; one sister, Katherine Davis of Southaven; and three brothers, Vernon McCammon(Patricia), Rex McCammon(Caroline), both of Southaven and Delma McCammon(JoAnn) of Kokomo, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Tommy James Harbin; second husband, W.D. "Doc" Griffin; one daughter, Martha Chaney; one son, Benny Lee Harbin; two granddaughters, Jennifer Harbin and Becky Holland Morgan; and two sons-in-law, Dan Holland and Houston Goodwin.
