Mr. Sam Allen Ayers, 53, of Carroll County, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025 at his residence. He was born January 14, 1972 in Greenwood to Charles Steve Ayers and Elsa Marie Pyron Ayers. Sam Allen was a graduate of Grenada High School and earned a degree in Marketing from Mississippi State University. Sam enjoyed a successful career in sales, but found his true calling as an auctioneer. He was a member of the team at Delta Auction for several years where he made lasting connections and friendships. Sam Allen was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2025 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Gary Tanner and Rev. Bud Vance officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Carroll County. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly A. Ayers; mother, Elsa Pyron Ayers; son, Joshua McNatt; and a host of cousins and other extended family.
Sam Allen is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, J.A. and Hattie Pyron and Sam & Sarah Ayers.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Will Allen, Randall Beckwith, Benji Britt, Kirk Clements, Kyle Franklin and Matt Mitchell.
