Sherrie Annette Floyd, 45, of Big Creek, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born August 23, 1972 in Memphis. Sherrie was a 1990 graduate of Grenada High School and attended Holmes Community College. She had previously worked at ADP and in the home health field.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. James Melton officiating. Interment will follow in the Wayside Cemetery at Scobey. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until service time Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.

Sherrie is survived by two daughters, Ashley Floyd of Calhoun City and Samantha Turner (Will) of Calhoun City; one son, Justin Floyd(Kelsey) of Vardaman; her father, Gene Pollan of Grenada; three sisters, Donna Winders of Tillatoba, Terry Floyd of Duck Hill and Cindy Knight of Smyrna, TN; five grandchildren, Nelson Floyd, Lathan Floyd, Alyssa Turner, Braylyn Floyd and Lyle Turner; and her fiancé, Billy Martin of Big Creek.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Barkley Pollan.

Pallbearers will be Gary Barkley, Randy Barkley, Phillip Floyd, Colby Hipp, Cody Pollan and Curt Pollan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew Barkley and Russell Barkley.
